Stroke is considered a disease that has no cure, this impression is completely wrong. Obstruction of
the brain arteries due to which the blood supply to the brain is affected is
called stroke. Sugar, blood pressure, obesity, smoking, tobacco. , alcoholism, and heart valve disease, are risks of such diseases. The rate of stroke
patients in Pakistan has exceeded 40%.
About 10 lakh people
suffer from some form of disability due to stroke. According to an estimate,
more than eight and a half lakh people suffer from stroke in Pakistan every year.
More than 70% of them suffer from stroke. 10 to 20 % of people die due to a
stroke.
